Terms and Conditions

1. General Overview

These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the (Padel champions league) 18-Week Padel League By registering for the League, all players agree to these terms in full

2. League Format

• The League will run for 18 consecutive weeks, with one scheduled match per week per team/player.

• Matches will take place at any venue

• Each match will follow standard padel rules as set out by the International Padel Federation (FIP).

3. Eligibility

• Players must register as a team

• Substitutions are allowed only with prior approval from the Organizer.

4. Fees and Payment

• Entry fee: £50 per team payable upon registration on the website

• Fees are non-refundable once the League begins, except in cases of event cancellation by the Organizer.

• Failure to pay fees before the first match may result in removal from the League.

5. Scheduling and Attendance

• Matches are scheduled once per week.

• The Organizer will publish a full schedule before Week 1.

• Players are responsible for arriving on time for matches.

• If a player is late 5 mins they start with 1 game down

• If 10mins late they start with 2 games down

• If more than 15 mins late forfeit a set

• If a player or team cannot attend, they must notify the Organizer at least 24 hours in advance to attempt rescheduling (rescheduling not guaranteed).

6. Scoring and Standings

• Standard scoring system: best of 3 sets (tie-break at 6–6).

• To win a game a team must win 2 sets out of 3

• If 1-1 for example and 3rd set isn’t finished in time it’s a draw

• If only 1 set is complete it’s a draw

• Golden Point after the 2nd Deuce

• Points system:

• Win = 3 points

•. Draw = 1 Point

• Loss = 0 points

• Walkover/forfeit = 3 points to opponent

• League standings will be updated weekly.

8. Conduct and Fair Play

• All players must demonstrate sportsmanship, respect, and fair play.

• Unsporting behavior (including verbal abuse, threats, or cheating) may result in warnings, point penalties, or expulsion from the League.

• The Organizer’s decision on disciplinary matters is final.

9. Liability and Insurance

• Players participate at their own risk.

• The Organizer is not liable for injuries, loss, or damage to personal property during the League.

• Participants are encouraged to have personal sports or health insurance.

10. Cancellations and Weather Policy

• In case of bad weather or unforeseen events, matches may be rescheduled at the Organizer’s discretion.

• The Organizer reserves the right to cancel or modify the League if necessary, with notice to participants.

11. Prizes, Tropies, Medals

• Prizes for both leagues and medals for runners up and player of the league

• Advance/high intermediate league prizes 1st £300 2nd £200 3rd £100

• Low intermediate / beginner League prizes 1st £300 2nd £200 3rd £100

• *The prize funds is based on for a full capacity it could change depending to sign ups

13. Data Protection

• Personal information collected during registration will be used solely for League administration and communication.

• Data will be stored securely and not shared with third parties without consent.

14. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for the League, players acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
